Just spent 5 nights at Ballena Rey and loved it! The pool with the waterfall was a highlight, and the comfy bed meant we slept like babies. The only downside? A bit of loud music from nearby, earplugs recommended! Totally worth it!

I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room, and the air conditioning couldn't keep up, making it very uncomfortable. The kitchen was tiny, and it felt cramped without a proper living area. While Nina was fantastic, some other staff members seemed irritated by our presence, which was disappointing.

Is it really that good? my take

The staff was genuinely friendly and quick to assist, making our stay feel welcoming. The lovely pool area was perfect for relaxation and had a unique waterfall feature that added charm! !

While breakfast was available, an evening dining option was lacking during our stay, which would have been a nice addition for guests.

My stay at Ballena Rey Hotel was truly delightful! I loved waking up to the charming sounds of birds and enjoying a cup of coffee on my terrace. The staff were immensely helpful, especially Gilberto, who arranged for my laundry with a smile. The pool was lovely and well-maintained, making it perfect for relaxation after a day out.

Parking is slightly tight.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, and lovely pool created a perfect atmosphere for our stay, especially with the additional kitchen amenities and the option for a paid airport shuttle just 46 km away.

This hotel was just a prime choice for a fleeting trip in Uvita with attractive and competitive value for money. The lovely swimming pool added a refreshing touch to our stay, perfect for unwinding. Bring your own snacks if you're picky about breakfast options.

I had an amazing stay with an incredible kitchenette that made dining easy and a lovely pool to relax in, although the parking spots were a bit challenging to navigate. Would definitely return!
